Thank you all for your support this fall. On Sunday, we concluded our fall ball with a tournament at RPI. This served as the culmination of all of our hard work during the three weeks of practices! Our players faught hard and learned a lot about themselves as players and the work that needs to be done for us to have our best season yet!! We lucked out with beautiful weather, although the 80 degree heat caught all teams by surprise after a somewhat cool fall.
At the end of the day, we finished with two ties and two tight losses, but our progress was what we were most pleased with. Our 8 freshman impressed the coaches in their first real game experience, and with many returners we are excited about the team's potential! We have all the tools we need for a great 2012 season- now it's just putting it all together!!
For now, we head into the off season where the girls will work hard to get themselves where they all need to be to make 2012 a memorable year. With hard work and focus this team can do great things! As a coaching staff, we can't wait to see where the team is at in January when we reunite with the team.
